  • Soak the rice in water for 20 minutes
  • Drain & rinse the rice
  • In a large bowl add the mince meat, rice, onion, parsley, thyme, salt and black pepper
  • Mix with your hands
  • Make into meatballs and freeze for 1 hour
  • In a large pot add the tomato paste, salt, citric acid and boiling water
  • Add the meatballs in the sauce mixture
  • Cover and simmer for 1 hour

Meatballs
1 kilo Extra Lean Mince meat
½ cup Basmati Long Grain rice
1 diced Onion
1 tablespoon Dried Parsley
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Black Pepper

Stew
1 can 156ml Tomato Paste
1 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Citric Acid
Boiling Water
