Ingredients

Orange Vanilla Cake

Directions

3 cups of All Purpose Flour with 2 tsp baking powder or
3 cups of Self Raising Flour

1 cup Sugar

1 cup Whole Milk

9gms Vanilla Sugar

1/4 cup Vegetable oil
3 eggs
1/2 cup Butter (room temperature)
2 Oranges

  • Preheat the oven to 350 deg F or 180 deg C
  • Add the vanilla sugar & baking powder in the flour and mix
  • Grate the zest of the oranges in the flour mixture
  • Cut the oranges in half and squeeze the juice
  • Add the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix until creamy
  • Add 1 egg at a time
  • Add the vegetable oil
  • Add some of the flour and mix
  • Add the rest of flour
  • Add the milk
  • Add the orange juice & mix all together
  • Spray the cake tin with non stick spray
  • Pour batter in cake tin
  • Bake for 1 hour or until its baked inside with a tooth pick test
  • Knife around the edges & place on a cooling rack
