Walnut Cake

Directions

3 cups of All Purpose Flour with 2 tsp baking powder or
3 cups of Self Raising Flour
3 eggs (room temperature)
1 ½ cups White Sugar
1 cup salted Butter (room temperature)
1 cup Whole Milk
1 tablespoon Vanilla Essence
1 cup Crushed Walnuts

  • Preheat the oven to 350 deg F or 180 deg C
  • Sift flour & baking powder in a separate bowl and mix
  • Add the butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and mix until creamy
  • Add 1 egg at a time
  • Add the Vanilla Essence
  • Add 1/3 of the milk
  • Add 1/3 of the flour and mix
  • Add the rest of milk
  • Add the rest of flour
  • Add the walnuts and mix
  • Spray the cake tin
  • Pour batter in cake tin
  • Bake for 1 hour or until its baked inside with a tooth pick test
